today’s amused observation

I woke up this morning with many things to do, only to realize I was out of coffee.  So, en route to the laundromat, I stopped at 7-Eleven.  I didn’t realize it was Free Coffee Day until I was inside and told that I had made the deadline by 15 minutes.  Which explained the crowd around the coffee makers.

Now, in case you aren’t familiar, 7-Eleven hold a 7-Election during national political decisions, offering a cup for each candidate, and your choice counts as a “vote” in their poll.  I’ll be interested to see how the results look after today, because those were the only cups available in which to put free coffee.  What I did notice was this: Every single person there for free coffee at the time had Obama cups.  (Myself included, obviously!)  And the Obama stack was depleted, while the Romney stack was still tall.

I find this comforting.

Of course, Romney would just probably say this just proves his point.

I honestly can’t tell if Obama is going to win in a landslide, or if I live in a liberal echo chamber…

Patrick

The inevitable victor

Patrick really is more awesome. His name goes second to signal the inevitability of his victory.

When not rubbing John's face in his rarefied awesomeness, Patrick (a.k.a. Patrick Harris) is a graduate student of Rhetoric at SDSU and all-about geek gadfly.
