How to Be a Better Player

Today’s link is just a quickie, which apparently will make John happy.

Er, let me rephrase that.

Today’s link does not require a lot of commentary, which apparently is John’s MO. It’s a collection of articles by blogger Peter AmthorĀ on the topic of how to be a better player in an RPG. The writing isn’t necessarily great, but the points are all valid. Well, with one exception–take Point #2 with a grain of salt. Yeah, you don’t need to talk to everyone, but that doesn’t mean you should only talk to people with “Talk to me!” buttons on them.

… but anyway. Just putting this out there for those who might find it useful.

Patrick

The inevitable victor

Patrick really is more awesome. His name goes second to signal the inevitability of his victory.

When not rubbing John's face in his rarefied awesomeness, Patrick (a.k.a. Patrick Harris) is a graduate student of Rhetoric at SDSU and all-about geek gadfly.
