Fan Film of the Day: Grayson

I can dig it. Too bad it’s too awesome to ever be made.

Side note: Whenever I see Robin in bright yellow and reds, I can’t help but think his McDonalds funland color palette undermines the whole ‘terrify the criminals’ part of Batman’s plan.

Credit where credit is due: Thanks Rich Howard for posting this!

John, there’s not a month that goes by that I don’t think about the GRAYSON presentation I saw in Los Angeles. The director came out and talked about it, then showed it to us, then took questions from the crowd, and it truly blew me away how good it all looked for how cheap it was. In fact, I’m always telling people how they did the shot of Superman lifting up the tank, which was so simple and cost-effective, yet looks better than a fortune in CGI would have.

The inevitable victor

Patrick really is more awesome. His name goes second to signal the inevitability of his victory.

When not rubbing John's face in his rarefied awesomeness, Patrick (a.k.a. Patrick Harris) is a graduate student of Rhetoric at SDSU and all-about geek gadfly.
